American Public Television Programs Honored at The 43rd Annual Telly Awards
30 Telly Awards given to APT-distributed series and specialsBOSTON, MA (May 25, 2022) – Programs distributed by American Public Television (APT), the leading syndicator of content to U.S. public TV stations nationwide, won a total of 30 Telly Awards on Tuesday. The 43rd Annual Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens, celebrating this season’s theme of “A New POV.”
Winners include Samantha Brown’s Place to Love with three Gold, six Silver and two Bronze awards; one Gold award each for Betrayed: Surviving An American Concentration Camp and Chasing Silver: The Story of Gorham; as well as one Silver and three Bronze awards for Real Road Adventures. Public television programs broadcast on national multicast channel Create — produced and distributed by APT, The WNET Group and GBH Boston in association with NETA and PBS — won 29 Telly Awards in total, which include 20 for APT-distributed titles.
